There are numerous reasons why teeth become stained and become yellowed. With both of these kits, the patient visits the dental studios, and the dentist will take impressions of your teeth. These impressions are used to custom- make trays that uniquely fit your teeth. Several days later, you collect your trays along with whichever whitening gel you have chosen and an instruction guide. The dentist will explain the procedure and answer any questions you may have. The whitening gel and tray are used at night for approximately 5-10 consecutive nights, for at least five hours at a time to achieve visible results sooner.
Most whitening treatments are designed to last for a long period but, of course, your teeth will become stained and discoloured again if you persist in drinking tea and wine or other foods known to stain your teeth.
